Indian takeout in Saskatoon: a little planning, a better dinner
Dinner gets complicated when everyone sends a different message: one person wants biryani, someone else wants butter chicken, and nobody has thought about the bread. Before you open another group chat, make two decisions: who is eating, and whether you are collecting the food or having it delivered. The rest of a Samway order is easier from there.
Choose how dinner is getting home
For pickup, Samway Grill is at Suite 101, 2100 8th Street East in Saskatoon. Send the person collecting the food the actual order confirmation, not just a screenshot of the basket. Our visit page has the directions and contact details together, which saves another search when it is time to leave.
For delivery, enter the destination in the ordering system and check the options it gives you. The timing shown for your order is more useful than a general estimate on a website. If there is a particular time you need to eat, check that before choosing the rest of the meal.
Start with a meal, then add the extras
For a curry order, choose the main and then decide how you want to eat it. Butter Chicken with Plain Rice is a different dinner from Karahi Chicken with Garlic Naan, even though both begin in the chicken section. If bread is the part you look forward to, make room for it in the order instead of adding rice out of habit.
Biryani takes you in another direction because the rice is already part of the main. A Chicken Biryani and a starter can be a simpler choice than picking a curry, a separate rice dish and bread. Check the total and the confirmation
The offers page shows Samway’s current online promotion and its conditions. Read those alongside the total in checkout; an old screenshot or a remembered offer may no longer apply. Keeping the offer details in one place also makes it easier to check them next time.
Once you have placed the order, look for the confirmation and keep it handy. If something needs changing, contact the restaurant with those details rather than placing a second order and hoping the first will be replaced. Then put out the plates. Dinner is much nicer when nobody is still trying to find a fork.
